This week team MFV narrowed down our goal for the project to how can we create a way for Mi Familia Vota to engage students’  interests in civic engagement and stay in touch with them? We reached this conclusion after interviewing students, teachers, and conducting secondary research about how other nonprofits promote civic engagement. We also spent time exploring different options by measuring the impact and fidelity of the proposed components of the help card. The image in this week’s blog post is the aftermath of when we ranked each component by fidelity and impact.   We hope to create a digital or print pledge card that is both informs students about the services MFV provides and encourages the individual to complete the form. The pledge card will include a combination of slap stats, text, and images that will hopefully engage the user.
