Hello, we are team Rice Village People, working with the YMCA to diversify its lifeguarding staff! Our names are Matthew Perez, Christian Carr, Sabrina Bisaga, and Tanvi Jadhav. We are a passionate group interested in the impact that pools have on urban spaces, as well as the deeply flawed history of pools in America, and how to combat and correct such a history. We are very excited to be working with our local YMCA Greater Houston as well as DFA National in order to tackle diversifying these positions in the YMCA!
